Product Development / Customer Service

What you will do

  • Product Development / Customer service – assisting sales representatives to follow up with customers, communicate with material suppliers, and Charming global teammates to facilitate product development that meets and exceeds our customers’ requirements.

  • General administrative and clerical tasks – answering phone calls, reporting, inventory, invoicing, and assembling presentations.

  • Quality control – inspecting incoming samples for quality and color consistency

  • Communicating effectively with customers, business partners, and Charming teammates to ensure a smooth and timely completion of tasks

  • Creating customer reference books and profiles

  • Following new product development from inception through pricing and samples to approvals through production at multiple locations

  • Understanding and mastering our customers systems and requirements – we are an extension of their developmental needs

Qualifications

  • Experience in product development, especially related to textiles and trim items

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Customer-first attitude

  • Ability to grow with the company and adapt to new opportunities

  • Strong organizational skills

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with inventory management systems

  • Knowledge of sustainable materials and processes

  • Multiple language skills a plus 

  • History with digital platforms, QR, NFC or RFID

  • Recent experience with apparel Trim and identification
